House in the south of Jakarta by TWS & Partners
This unusual residence is located in Jakarta, Indonesia and it was designed and congenital by TWS & Partners with principal in accuse Tonny W Suriadjaja and structural engineers Purwa. The business firm was completed in 2010. Information technology sits on a 300 sqm surface area. The concept behind this construction was to try something unlike from the usual lines, to try to create a unlike perception. As a result, the Distort House was born.

Situated in an area where tropical village forest is withal a large part of the surroundings and where a public park is located in the front of the site itself, the business firm benefits from beautiful views and plenty of natural surround. The greenish area in the front of the house is a transitional space between the park and the house itself.

The individual areas of the house are located n the upper level. This way there'due south plenty of fresh air and expansive views over the trees. On the ground floor are located the public and semi-public spaces. There'southward a huge living room that has no walls and not even drinking glass, being a completely open space. There's also a smaller living area that acts as a welcoming expanse and is connected to the upper level. The interior décor features exposed beams and white walls. The residuum is rather unproblematic.{pics by Fernando Gomulya and found on archdaily}
